ECHO(E)S: Documentary & Discussion

WOMADE is honored to host the screening of "ECHO(E)S", the debut documentary by Belgian director Chloé De Bon. This film shines a light on minimized experiences in gynecological and obstetric care through a unique, sensory blend of interviews and movement.

Chloé De Bon is a Belgian director and producer based in Brussels. Driven by a desire to create at her own pace and aligned with feminist values, she explores the intimate links between health, body autonomy, and societal care.

Built on the stories of eight people from diverse backgrounds, ECHO(E)S breaks the silence surrounding obstetric violence. More than a report, it is a visual and sensory journey designed to make the invisible visible and foster a deep, collective understanding of women’s health.
