Hi, my name is Alba and I have a passion for people;
I love creating connections & bringing people together.
I also enjoy being creative, finding solutions and thinking out-of-the-box.
I initially created WOMADE to fill a personal need: find an inspiring place to thrive at work and be surrounded by a supporting tribe of like-minded women.
It all began when I was struggling to find a place to work on a another business project, more than 3 years ago.
I was looking for the perfect place: good Wi-Fi & coffee, inspiring & not too loud...
Sure, there were plenty of nice cafés I could use, but they quickly started to get expensive, the coffee wasn't always good, and I was getting exhausted by the repetitive noises of the coffee machine & loud music.
But most importantly, I felt so alone: no colleagues or friends to talk about my ideas, share my thoughts and enjoy my coffees with. I started then to look for the perfect coworking space and realised there was not a single one I felt comfortable with...
An idea was born: WOMADE, a coworking space dedicated to women's needs, thought and designed by women.
Beyond providing a space and networking opportunities, WOMADE creates meaningful connections between women. A safe space specifically designed to inspire and support each other in our entrepreneurial journeys.

Our Manifesto
I'm a goal digger. I turn my dreams into goals and those Goals into reality. My passion is what inspires me and drives my determination. I am fearless and not afraid to take risks. It's only by trying and failing that I will learn to succeed. I believe good things come to those who know what they want, and go out there and get shit done. I surround myself with people who believe in me and bring out the best in me. impossible is just an opinion and not a fact. I believe life is what i make it, and i do not wait for "someday" to achieve my dreams.
